Guide Dogs - Boop The Snoot

Delightful donations at Badminton Horse Trials - an interactive contactless experience that turned a playful concept into real-world impact.

Guide Dogs partnered with Donation.Tech to bring their playful concept "Boop The Snoot" to life — an interactive contactless donation experience designed to engage hearts and inspire giving.

As a company specialising in delightful donations, Donation.Tech was asked to develop a bespoke prototype that combined emotion, creativity, and ease of use. The experience launched at the Badminton Horse Trials, drawing attention from a wide, high-footfall audience.

The solution

Built on our DTV Mini platform, the unit delivered a seamless three-stage journey:

Thank You

Express Gratitude

1. Awareness

A charming video invites users to "Boop The Snoot" of a lovable guide dog.

2. Engagement

A sensor detects nearby movement, triggering an emotive appeal.

3. Gratitude

A personalised thank-you video plays after a contactless donation.

The DTV is payment reader agnostic, giving charities the freedom to integrate their preferred systems and future-proof the solution for wider CSR or campaign uses.

Results at Badminton

  • High engagement from families, pet lovers, and eventgoers
  • Strong emotional connection with the Guide Dogs cause
